this weekend adam and i got to practice being parents while we watched my little niece mary. we had lots of fun watching tangled (twice) and going out for ice cream (twice) every two-year-old girl's (and 23-year-old girl's) dream come true. here's a picture of dinner friday night. she wanted to eat her pizza with two spoons. sure, why not?
i came to the realization that my house is not kid ready. i had a sum total of 2 kid things, a christmas stuffed snowman and a single children's book (both gifts from my mother-in-law). also, no sippy cups which resulted in orange juice on the carpet. it's ok though, she's so cute it makes up for it.
