i'm so hooked

just finished the second book in the series and it was just as good as the first. the problem is the third and final book doesn't come out until august! i'm dying. please please please if you have a suggestion for a good book let me know! i need something to pass my time at work. thanks :)

p.s. adam and i are still renovating our house we bought at the first of april. it's taking FOREVER but is looking so beautiful! i can't wait to post the before and after pics, they will knock your socks off! also can't wait to move in, hopefully just one more week.

now that i don't have homework to do i needed a good book to help pass my time at work. i stared reading this and haven't been able to put it down, it's fabulous! i plan on starting the second book when i finish but i'm sure i'll read that one fast too so if anyone has suggestions for another great read please do share!

hallelujah!

yesterday i graduated and the feeling of relief was even more than i had expected! after i finished my last final on wednesday i just walked down the hall with the biggest grin on my face. i can't believe i'm done with school, i don't think it will hit me until monday when i get to sleep in instead of going to my marketing class. my grandparents flew up from sunny california to come to my graduation, they're so great i love them so much! my family all came to support. it was a great day and i've had lots and lots of ice cream and junk this weekend to celebrate :)

i've got senioritis, bad. can't wait for that glorious day on april 30th. it can't come soon enough!

poor poor adam

adam just had surgery on his foot a couple weeks ago. this summer he tore a his lisfranc ligament (betcha haven't heard of that one before) while playing flag football. after months and months of an ugly purple ball on this top of his foot it wasn't healing right so we went to see a specialist. come to find out he needed to have surgery so that's exactly what he did. the x ray looks like frakenstein's foot with a plate and about 8 screws, they had to fuse the bones together. so poor poor adam is in a cast for 10 weeks and on crutches for 6 weeks. it's killing him to be so sedentary but he's a champ and takin it like a man! he's also getting very familiar with the bathtub.

california trip

the week after christmas adam and i went to california with my parents and sister kk to visit my grandparents in huntington and my grandparents in newport. it was a much needed break that was so delicious to my soul! we had lots of fun shopping, playing scrabble and integrity, eating to our hearts content and spending time with the fam. my grandparents are the cutest couple, we love visiting them at their beautiful beach house! i ran on the beach everyday, PURE BLISS! much better than the treadmill i've become accustomed to the past few months. as always i'm the worst at taking pictures, but i managed to snag a few here and there. even though it wasn't terribly warm there it was so nice to escape the cold and wear short sleeves. anyone else ready for spring? i've been ready since november. we left katie down there to live with my cute cousin erica. we miss her lots!

merry elfin' christmas love santa cros

for the past 3 years my dad has played santa at the annual clark christmas party...we call him santa cros. he's so cute with the kids and i always laugh my head off at his attempt to speak like santa. his voice always lowers with his ho ho ho's. this year his lovely little elf candy cane joined him. my niece rylee ran up to my mom and said is your name cany cane? my mom excitedly replied YES! after she left my niece went around telling everyone that her class had written letters to santa's elves and the elf who wrote her back named candy cane came to the party this year to see her. what a christmas miracle! also, elder sean clark got back from his mission a couple days ago from minnesota, we are soo happy to have him home!
